The short version

Anything you type into a tool on this site stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us. We do not run any analytics or visitor-tracking script. We do show advertising, which may use cookies. That is the whole picture; the sections below spell out the details.

Data you enter into the tools

Every tool on EasyDeskTools runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The letters you unscramble, the loan figures you enter, the text you paste and any files you open are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded, not logged, and not stored on any server we control. When you close or reload the page, they are gone.

Some tools remember small preferences on your device using your browser’s local storage — for example your light or dark theme choice, or which tools you have used recently. That information stays in your browser, is readable only by this site, and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics or any other visitor-analytics service. No tracking script of ours runs on this site, and we do not build a profile of your visits. The only third-party code loaded on these pages is Google’s advertising script, described in the next section.

Advertising and cookies

This site is free because it carries display advertising. We use Google AdSense, and third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.

Opting out of personalised ads does not remove advertising from the site; it means the ads you see are less likely to be based on your browsing history.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not stop the tools from working, since none of them depend on a server. If you are in a region with specific data rights — such as the EU, UK, California or Canada — and you want to exercise them, contact us and we will respond.

Links to other sites

Pages on this site may link to other websites, including advertisers’ sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Their policies apply once you leave EasyDeskTools.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes — for example if a new tool needs a capability the current policy does not describe. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
